Alaska Trip

The Boise airport had this fun little Tonka truck that Coop had a great time with. It was a sweet little break from the plane rides.

Cooper sure had a good time fishing with Daddy.

We spotted this cow/calf moose pair just up the river while we were sitting out on the back deck. The cow swam across the river, but the baby made it only a few yards before turning back. The cow swam back over but ended up several house down from the calf. We watched the cow for a while, but she didn't make very fast progress back up river. Hopefully she got to her calf before something else did!

Hank and I took a day trip glacier tour out of Wittier. The country side was beautiful! We got to see several glaciers, whales, sea otters, dolphins and bald eagles.

This is a big shrimp from a shrimp pot the crew hauled up. They sure are funny looking things!

These sea otters were really cute. They just lay there in the water with their head and feet poking out, and every few minutes they spin around to get wet again. They sure were a docile bunch. They just laid there and stared back at us.
